By now, everyone should have heard about Maybelline New York’s BB Cream. For those with not so “perfect” skin, this is considered to be your saving grace or beauty angel. It is to help you achieve an instant fresh-faced look without looking like you’re wearing so much makeup. So, let me first tell you what this product is proclaimed to do and my personal experience using it and whether or not it is a good buy.
This product enhances the skin with 8 in 1 benefits:
1. Creates a natural glow
2. Complements skin tone
3. SPF 30 UV protection
4. Hydrates all day
5. Blurs imperfections
6. Oil free and non greasy
7. Looks visibly smooth
8. Feels fresh
How to apply: Apply a thin layer of Maybelline New York Dream Fresh 8-in-1 BB Cream SPF 30 on skin. Can be used with or without a moisturizer.
TIP 1: If you have dry skin or just want smooth skin, apply a layer of naturally scented or non scented lotion and massage into the skin on your face. This will help the BB cream work better and last longer. The tip is tried and proven true.
TIP 2: Although BB cream as SPF 30, this does not mean you should not wear your normal sunscreen. Apply sunscreen to face then the BB cream.
TIP 3: Depending on your skin type, BB cream can replace your primer, concealer and foundation.
I have now been using Maybelline New York’s BB Cream for a week now. I am pretty satisfied with some of the benefits of using this product. It does complement my skin tone very well and blurs imperfections (I have at least three (3)). My face does not feel sunburned, dry, oily or greasy. My face does feel fresh and looks visibly smooth. The only benefit I do not see is a natural glow. In some lights I see it and in some lights I do not and I have not had complements about having a natural glow about me (although not required but nice to be told by someone else).
Buy or Not to buy?
Depending on where you shop, the prices vary. I purchased mine for $7.99 (reg.price $8.99 without coupons or special rewards).
I believe it was worth the price. Maybelline New york has again created a great product.
